I think that the majority of people know how to start a business and how to run a business. You can easily do a google search and find millions of resources to help you get through whichever struggle you are dealing with at the moment. Whether it’s how to handle your taxes, easy ways to market your business or Facebook, or how to help your business go mobile, you can find it.
One thing that’s a little harder to come across through a casual Internet search is knowing if you are working your passion, if you have found your purpose. No matter what kind of business you are in, if you have found what you love and your daily work is, you are going to succeed. Period.
So how do you know if you are working your passion, your purpose?
This series will go over 5 ways to help you find your passion so that you know you are in the right business or need to make changes into your existing business.
Find A Mentor
One of the best ways to start discovering your passion is to put yourself around the people you admire. Whether it’s going to business meetingsa round town or joining an online community, finding people who are living the life you want, is a great way to start and see what it is your love to do.
Now I don’t necessarily mean follow hair stylist business owners, or rub shoulders with cafe owners just because you want to do exactly what they are doing, I mean align yourself with people who are living the lifestyle to strive to have. If you find you enjoy charity work, attend charity functions or network with board members. If you find that you are happiest when working with animals try volunteering at a shelter. If food seems to be something that you are interested, join some foodie groups and see who you bond with.
When it comes to finding your passion one of the first things to do is to align yourself with people who have the same ineterest and passions as you. T
